THE GET TRICKY jump rope team have been going down a storm at the Olympic Park basketball arena since July 28 until August 6 as they performed in the half time shows.

The team, featuring the Studley-based stars of the Jump Rope UK team, have now moved to the O2 Arena where they will be performing at the men's and women's semi finals and finals, whilst they will also be part of the Rock the Games show whilst they are there until Sunday.

Their performances have been so well received by everyone that even walking around the Olympic Park the Get Tricky aces are being recognised by people wanting their photos taken with them.

It has been - and still is - an amazing experience for all the group who are truly honoured to be representing the sport of jump rope.

The team had a live performance on NBC Today and did interviews for BBC Online and the Wall Street Journal.

The Olympics has given Get Tricky the chance to expose their sport to an audience who may not know much about jump rope and who are now filming the team and putting their performances on YouTube and saying amazing things about them via Facebook and Twitter.

The Get Tricky members are Beci and Rachael Dale, Laura Summers and Gemma McGhee from Studley-based Jump Rope UK, Robbie Csontos, Nick Woodard and Brian Hsu from Hot Dog USA, Joseph Edney and Ted Lehman from Bouncing Bulldogs USA, Willem and Wouter Tack and Jonas Vermeulen from Recrean Belgium, Vivien Vajda from Brazil, team manager Sue Dale and team sports therapist Tracey Gerrard.

You can follow the team on Facebook and Twitter.
