Needle story heads north

PART of Redditch's heritage will be brought to life at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival thanks to a town based group.

Indigo Arts is performing Eye of a Needle based on a story of Sally, a needler at Forge Mill, who meets the ghost of a girl who

was pulled out of the River Arrow.

This will be Indigo's fourth year at the Fringe having taken a break last year. A cast of 28 actors, aged from five to 32-years-old,

and a band, will travel up tomorrow (Saturday) to Scotland where they will perform from August 6 to August, 11.

The show is also set to be staged at Forge Mill and both nights are already sold out.

Cathy Moss, project director and write of Eye of a Needle, said: "It is brilliant to be heading off to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

again, with such a talented young cast. It is an amazing experience for the young people involved, there is really nothing like it."
