A REDDITCH man has been missing from his home since Monday morning (August 6).

Martyn English, aged 49, was last seen by his wife at 6am when he left his Plymouth Close home to catch the train to work in Coventry.

CCTV footage confirmed he had caught the 6.27am train to Coventry but he never made it into work.

Mr English is white, 6ft 2in tall, of average build, has a full beard, wears glasses and has long mousy greying hair which he wears in a ponytail.

On the day he went missing he was wearing a blue shirt with an AGCO company logo on it, a khaki jacket and was carrying a black rucksack.

PC Joanne Woodward said: "Mr English has not been reported missing before and this is very out of character for him.

"Understandably his family are worried about him and we would urge him to get in touch as soon as possible to let them know he is safe and well.

"We are eager to hear from anyone who has spoken to Mr English or thinks they have seen him since yesterday morning."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident reference number 180-S-070812.
