Serious injuries after car overturned

A MAN has been left with life-threatening injuries after his car overturned in Alvechurch.

The man, believed to be in 30s, was trapped inside the vehicle which overturned and hit a BT pole at The Spinney on Lilley Green Road at 12.30pm today (Tuesday).

Two fire crews from Redditch attended the scene and were able to release the man after 45 minutes.

He was then taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with serious head, pelvic and hand injuries.
