Man threatens to steal woman's dog

A WOMAN was attacked and threatened with a knife by a man who wanted to steal her dog.

The woman in her 20s, was walking her dog at The Spinney in Wythall about 11pm on Thursday, June 28, when a man approached her and threatened her with the blade.

He ordered her to hand over the dog and any valuables and, when she refused, he punched her.

There was a struggle and the man left the scene in a blue, older car driven by a blonde woman.

The man was white, aged about 24, and of skinny, but athletic, build. He was between 5ft 2ins and 5ft 4ins tall with a pale, dirty complexion, dark stubble and light mousey brown hair.

The woman, who was driving the car, was white, in her 30s, with a pony tail and an ear piercing.

Nothing was taken during the incident.
