FILM fans will have the chance to see three world cinema movies this week at Artrix in Bromsgrove.

On Monday (July 16) and Tuesday (July 17) at 7.30.p.m, the well received Turkish, Once Upon A Time in Anatolia (15). In the dead of night a police commissioner, a prosecutor, a doctor and a murder suspect drive through the Anatolian countryside searching for a corpse and as details about the murder emerge so do the investigators own secrets.

On Wednesday (July 18) and Thursday (July 19) at 7.30.p.m, the exceptional Belgium/French/Italian, The Kid With A Bike (12A). A 12 year old boy in foster care, is befriended by a woman he meets while searching for the father who abandoned him and his lost bike and falls into a life of crime.

On Friday (July 20) there are two screenings, at 2.00.p.m and 7.30.p.m, of the academy award nominated Albert Nobbs (15), starring Glenn Close. Hotel butler Albert Nobbs is a woman masquerading as a man to secure work in 19th Century Dublin. Her status leaves her isolated, lonely and perpetually open to blackmail by all around her.
