A MAN has died after falling from a bridge over the Bromsgrove Highway.
The victim, who has not been named by police, was confirmed dead at the scene by paramedics after the incident on the A448 at 3pm today (Monday).
The death is currently being treated as unexplained and the carriageway remains closed on both sides between Batchley and the turning to the Warwick Highway.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance were sent to the scene and an off duty member of staff also stopped to offer assistance.
He added: "Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that there was nothing that could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
"A number of people at the location were badly shaken by the situation but no one required any further treatment."
