AFTERNOON tea organised by kind-hearted NEW College students has helped raise money for young people at risk of homelessness.
Home starter packs for Redditch Nightstop have been purchased thanks to the help of the foundation studies students at the college and presented to project manager Gill Groom.
She said: "These donations help us to ensure young people moving into independent living will have necessary equipment to support them in their home and helps Nightstop to continue to provide vital work to young people in Redditch."
Course tutor Lynda Libetta added: "As part of their qualifications this year, students were required to be involved in a community project.
"They chose Nightstop because it was local to them and it helped young people like themselves."
