A SERIES of boot camp style fitness sessions run in Morton Stanley Park has raised £500 to support soliders past and present.
The classes have been running every Saturday since April and those taking part were asked to ‘pay what you feel’ with money going to THE ABF - The Soldiers’ Charity.
Redditch Borough Council has now given permission for the sessions to continue for the foreseeable future and the company behind them, In & Out Fitness, has also confirmed they will still be run on a voluntary donation basis.
Carl Maeers, of In & Out Fitness, said: “Organising the classes has been a really rewarding experience. The feedback we have received from participants has been excellent and the money we have raised for the charity is fantastic.”
Classes run at 10am and 11am and all abilities are catered for. For more information email info@inandoutfitness.co.uk or contact Carl on 07854 114165.
