Hi: 15° Lo:5° 7 day

A BALLOON launch was the highlight of the Jubilee celebrations for Meadow Green Primary School pupils.
Staff and children dressed in red, white and blue - with some even colouring their hair for the day.
PTA member Karen Kennedy said: "It was a wonderful day and the weather was really kind to us, especially for the actual release at 2pm. The children were so excited and could hardly wait for the countdown.
"They all dressed in patriotic colours and the whole school was decked out with bunting, posters and flags, most of which had been made by the children themselves."
