HUNDREDS of residents turned out to support a special Jubilee event and charity project launch on Saturday (June 2).
Nearly 600 people visited the Batchley Jubilee Timebank Festival, known as Cool by the Pool for the last 15 years but changed this year to reflect the launch of Batchley Support Group’s Timebank scheme and The Queen’s milestone.
Deputy Mayor Wanda King opened the afternoon with activities including knights on horseback, sword fighting displays, water balls, birds of prey and live entertainment.
