SUPERMARKET giant Asda has confirmed it has plans to move in to Redditch.
Although a site has not yet been found for a store, a spokesman for the company told the Standard they were ‘actively looking’.
“We would love to have a site in the town if possible, there are a number of sites we are looking at,” he added.
It is likely over 100 jobs could be created if a store is opened, with Asda hoping to make an announcement within the next six months if a deal can be struck.
