FORGE Mill Needle Museum is being brought to life by taking a trip back to the Victorian period to celebrate National Mills Weekend.
The annual festival will be held this Saturday and Sunday (May 12 and 13) and will see reenactors from the Redditch Amateur Theatre Society performing different jobs in the Victorian needle industry.
A Victorian fashion display, as well as demonstrations on how to make ice cream using traditional methods will be held by Hands on History.
A Victorian entertainer will be performing a puppet show entitled ‘Mr Punch vs the Czar’ which will amuse both adults and children and he will also be explaining the rules of Victorian football to visitors.
The site is also hosting the Grymm Tooms Travelling Museum and World of Wonders which has lots of weird and wonderful exhibits and curios. The event runs from 11am until 4pm and costs £2 for adults and is free for children.
