A MOTHER and her teenage daughter returned home from a night out to find two burglars in their house.
As the mother opened the front door she discovered two men in the house in Crabmill Lane, near Wythall.
The daughter ran out of the house, and as her mother tried to leave she was pushed by one of the men. She then managed to get out of the house and quickly locked the front door.
The men escaped through a rear door at around 10.30pm on Monday (May 7), taking an Acer laptop worth £600, a Ventura television worth £250 and a money tin containing cash, although the money tin and the television were later found in the back garden.
PC David Louden said: "The victims were understandably shaken by the incident and we are eager to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen the offenders in the area on Monday evening."
Witnesses or anyone with information should contact PC Louden on 0300 333 3000, quoting incident reference 675-S-070512, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
