AN OVERHEAD barrier at the KFC drive-thru was damaged by a man hanging off it.
The restaurant manager was told by two people about 5.30pm on Sunday, April 1 they had seen a man jump up and grab the overhead barrier which then collapsed.
The drive-thru at the Trafford Retail Park store was closed for a time for health and safety reasons while an engineer was called out.
PC Richard Thomas said: "This caused considerable inconvenience and loss of trade while the drive-thru was closed. We understand people saw this damage being caused and reported it but did not leave contact details. We urgently need them to come forward and tell us what happened."
A man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and released on police bail pending further inquiries until Friday, April 20.
Anyone with any information should call PC Thomas on 0300 333 3000, quoting incident number 561-S-010412, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
