ADULTS learners at Woodrow Library proved they know a thing or two about food hygiene after being presented with their certificates.
Redditch Mayor Anita Clayton was at the Woodrow Centre based building last Friday (January 27) to present certificates to 15 people who had taken part in the City and Guilds Food Hygiene level two qualification.
The course involved several sessions of group and tutor-led learning after which the participants answered multiple-choice questions online to achieve the desired pass rate.
The students also achieved a nationally recognised ICT certificate through registration to the Go On website and completion of several online modules.
Funding for the Food Hygiene certificate course came from the Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC) programme.
Anyone wishing to take part in the free course should contact Sarah Franklin at Woodrow Library on 01905 822722.
