THERE was double delight for youngsters at Ridgeway Middle School as they clinched victory in two district sports tournaments.
A quartet of pupils at the Astwood Bank School - Jamie Harland, Jack Harding, Charlotte Petry and Jess Bennett - enjoyed glory in the JB4 Challenge, which incorporates four activities - badminton, beat the goalie, rowing and basketball.
The Ridgeway youngsters produced a magnificent effort to finish first in all four activities and resoundingly take the honours against all the other Redditch middle schools.
There was also glory for 15 Ridgeway pupils in a swimming gala which was designed for strong swimmers but who are not members of a club to try and encourage them into joining clubs.
Ridgeway just pipped Walkwood to finish first in another district tournament against Redditch middle schools.
