THE SOUND of bagpipes swirled around an Alvechurch care home as part of celebrations to mark Burns Night.
Piper Andy DeComyn visited Grosvenor House Care Home in Aqueduct Lane on Wednesday (January 25) to entertain residents.
The event was part of a week of Scottish-themed activities to mark Robert Burns’ 253rd birthday which saw the home festooned with Scottish bunting while residents tucked into haggis and other traditional fare from north of the border.
