THE restaurant at Becketts Farm in Wythall is offering the chance to win free breakfasts for a whole year as part of efforts to encourage people not to miss the most important meal of the day.

For every breakfast ordered between Monday and Friday next week at Becketts Farm Restaurant, customers will be entered into a prize draw to win a free breakfast once a month, for a year. It is part of celebrations to mark Farmhouse Breakfast Week, which runs from Sunday to Saturday (January 22 to 28).

It is estimated one in six people never eat breakfast yet research shows people feel healthier and happier if they do.

Restaurant manager Jim Thompson said: “Becketts is famous for its breakfasts throughout the West Midlands.

“Probably due to the fact we use the finest local and fresh ingredients and where possible we grill rather than fry items on the breakfast menu to ensure a healthier option.”
