    EVENTS


    There will be a jumble sale at The Old Library, Droitwich, on Saturday, May 3 from 9am. Admission is free and proceeds will go to charity.


    There is a stamp sale at Webheath Village Hall, Redditch, on the last Saturday of each month from 10am to 3pm.


    The Artrix, Bromsgrove, will be screening No Country For Old Men (15) from Monday, May 5 to Thursday, May 8 from 7.30pm. Admission is £5.50 or £4.50 for concessions and for more information call 01527 577330.


    CLUBS AND GATHERINGS


    Lickey Hills Art Society is holding a demonstration on portrait sculpture by John Letts at Longbridge Methodist Church Hall from 7.30pm on Saturday, May 3. For more information call Graham Wilson on 0121 453 7097.


    Barnt Green Sailing Club, Upper Bittell Reservoir, presents Sailboards - three races commencing at 11am with two afternoon Class Dinghy races - on Sunday, May 4 and Monday, May 5 with 1st gun at 2.24pm. There will also be Katy's Crew on Sunday for juniors new to the sport from 11.30am. On Wednesday, May 7 there will be the Early Pursuit series for all club classes with 1st gun at 6.54pm.
