SHAUN Cunnington goes into his last match as Alvechurch manager tomorrow hoping to end his reign on a high and lift their second trophy of the season.
The former Kidderminster Harriers caretaker boss is stepping down at the end of this campaign to fulfil personal ambitions of managing at a higher level.
However, he hopes not before he delivers the club’s second piece of silverware of the year in the Worcestershire Infirmary Cup final against Westfields at St George’s Lane.
Two weeks ago the Lye Meadow outfit lifted the Worcestershire Senior Urn after outclassing Brierley Hill & Withymoor 4-0 and ’Church ended their Midland Alliance campaign on Saturday by finishing 14th.
