    SIMON Chidler won the Lower Park Open on Sunday with 28lbs of bream ahead of Ian Shepherd who managed 21lbs.
    Steve Ashmore came third with 16lbs 8ozs while the section winners were Trevor Chalk with 16lbs 2ozs, Barry Blewett with 15lbs 14ozs, Tony Pallett with 14lbs 4ozs and Pete Taylor with 10lbs 13ozs.
    Wythall Bowls Club won ten of their 14 matches last week with all four over 60s sides victorious.
    The Tuesday Ladies A team triumphed as did both Wednesday sides.
    Kevin Smith’s 21-6 saw the Thursday B team home and the W and W Premier side won alongside the Sunday B team.
    The White Hart Crown Green Bowls Club had a mixed week as they lost on four occasions but triumphed three times including a cup game.
    The HDA Level Green Club at Batchley opened their season with a 5-0 win over St Dunstans from Worcester before their encounter with Oldington was abandoned.
    Redditch Exiles maintained their unbeaten run in 2008 after beating Cheshire touring side Wilmslow Vets 31-14 on Saturday.
    Inkberrow B slipped down the Summer Tennis League Premier Division after losing 4-0 to Stratford.
    Alcester maintained their position at the top of Division Two following a 3-1 win at Pershore.
    Studley moved up to third after thrashing Aston Cantlow 4-0 and Alcester B triumphed 3-1 over HDA Redditch.
    Studley B dropped points to FISSC B after drawing 2-2 but still remain joint top.
    Enfield Eagles overtook Arrow Aztecs at the top of the Redditch Borough Council Junior Netball League.
    In the Senior League Kingsley Kingfishers and Forge Falcons are both deadlocked on the same amount of points in first place.
