A LEADING internet services provider has helped the Primrose Hospice celebrate its 21st anniversary live on the web.
Netsecrets, based just outside Redditch in Stock Green, has donated a website to help launch and promote the hospice's campaign to reach a fund-raising target of £21,000 in tribute to its special birthday.
The special web package helps to promote the hospice's year-long anniversary of fund-raising events, including the ‘Halfway Down’ challenge, which will see three members of the Morris family from Grafton Manor (Bromsgrove) ride two motorbikes from Bromsgrove to Tan Tan - the gateway to the Sahara Desert in October.
Tony Burt, director of Netsecrets, which specialises in providing state of the art internet technology and support for a wide range of SME’s across the West Midlands, said: “We are really excited to be continuing our support for the Primrose Hospice and helping the volunteers with their vital fund-raising in tribute to their special milestone.
“This is our way of giving something back to a worthwhile charity which relies almost entirely on charitable donations.
“We hope the website will help promote all the fund-raising events throughout the year to ensure the hospice meets its fund-raising target and more.”
It’s not the first time the two have joined forces - Netsecrets first built the hospice a website in 2005, as a gift to help promote the vital advice and support it provides for cancer patients and their families across North Worcestershire.
Lorraine Hart, fund-raising manager at the Primrose Hospice, Bromsgrove, said: “We are extremely grateful to Netsecrets for their consistent support over the years and building and providing us with our very own website to promote not only our care and support services but our vital fund-raising activities.
“This is a very exciting year for us and we hope as many people as possible help us reach our goal.”
