  • Ex-football boss is on hand to open showroom

    Lianne Cooper

    25 April 2008

FORMER football manager Ron Atkinson officially re-opened a kitchen showroom in Stoke Prior at the weekend.

After taking the opportunity to revamp its showrooms after last summer’s floods, bosses at The Granite and Marble Company, based at Harris Business Park, officially opened their doors with the help of ‘Big Ron’ on Saturday (March 29).

Jon Brewer, managing director said: “The floods definitely caught us between a rock and a hard place.

“But we have bounced back and now we’re determined to make the best of it.

“Our new showrooms offer even more fabulous ranges, and we have sourced unusual stone and surfaces from around the world.”
