Manager shares in customer award joy

A SHOPPING centre worker from Bromsgrove is part of a team which has been voted the best customer service providers in the UK.

Liz Taylor is Finance Manager at popular West Midlands shopping destination Merry Hill, which has just received the top accolade from industry body the BCSC (British Council of Shopping Centres).

During the recent awards ceremony, the Merry Hill team was named as one of four winners in their respective size category (over 80,000 sq m) in the ACE Awards (Achieving Customer Excellence) and was also awarded the prestigious overall ‘Top Ace’.

Liz and her team were praised by the judges for the empathetic and understanding approach provided by the staff, as well as the great children’s facilities and the immaculately clean mall.

Liz said: “This award is a tribute to the wonderful staff we have here at Merry Hill who all regularly go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our customers have the best shopping experience possible.
“I’m very proud to be part of such a winning team.”
