A BROMSGROVE-based marketing and communications agency ensured that Europe's first and only Thomas Land received a first class unveiling this month.
Gough Allen Stanley, based in Worcester Road, spearheaded the media launch of Drayton Manor Theme Park's new £5million attraction, which is based on the ever-popular Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends.
Work carried out by the company included the design, production and distribution of invites, preparation and compilation of press packs, arranging a visit to the attraction by 100 school children, and photography of the launch.
As well as local and regional newspapers, the opening was also attended by BBC, ITV and Touch FM.
Sue Bailey, managing director of Gough Allen Stanley, said: “It was a very successful launch and we were able to secure great media coverage for our client, which was down to the passion and drive shown by our team.”
The agency has handled the PR and media relations for the theme park, which is near Tamworth, for over ten years and has previously organised the launch of some of its biggest and most popular rides, including The Bounty, G Force and Maelstrom.
