A PRESTIGIOUS taxi from from Redditch has stepped up a gear to enable larger groups of passengers to use its service.
Mr Taxi, based in Ipsley, has added an eye-catching 16 passenger minibus to its existing eight seater under the PCV Operators Licence, and it is now available for local, long distance and continental hire.
The company also owns four and six-seater taxis which are specially designed to accommodate wheelchair users.
Owner Neil Brown said: "We realised there was a market for such a minibus after receiving a lot of calls from people wanting 12, 14 and 16 seaters, which we had to turn away.
"So we decided to extend our fleet to accommodate this and already have bookings in the pipeline.
"We also want customers to know that if they are looking for a weekend break in Europe, say France or Germany, we can provide the travel, and they can be assured that all our drivers are PCV experienced - they are in good hands."
