  • Website will helping companies make the most of IT

    Lianne Cooper

    25 April 2008

A NEW scheme looking to boost the technological performance of businesses in Bromsgrove and Redditch has been launched.
Business Link West Midlands has designed an innovative new website aimed at helping companies make the most of their IT operations.
The main focus of the site will be on marketing and how IT can play a key role in monitoring the behaviour of customers and in communicating offers quicker and more effectively.
Project leader Lyn Burkett said technology was crucial to business success.
"We wanted to help local companies make the most of IT by offering them initial information, expert guidance and in-depth assistance when embracing this area," he said.
"The site will act as the first point of entry into this world of support and will give information and opportunities for everyone looking to exploit IT."
The website will also show how technology can make business more efficient by introducing new systems, programmes and managing key contacts through a central database.
