  • Balloon trip up for grabs on new website

    Lianne Cooper

    25 April 2008

LOGGING onto the new website of a Droitwich accountants could send one local business flying to the skies.
To mark the re-launch of its website, Ormerod Rutter is offering companies the chance to win a hot air balloon trip for two.
All businesses need to do is visit its improved site, which was launched earlier this month, and leave an email contact address.
The new site aims to provide valuable information on accountancy for compliance, financial planning, tax investigations and setting up a limited company.
It also features useful advice on starting up a new business and the pros and cons of being a sole trader or working in a partnership.
Details of Ormerod Rutter's specialist knowledge on charities, the construction business and property management can also be found along with a section on recruitment opportunities with the company.
A business bulletin board, carrying up-to-date news of changes in company legislation and corporate tax requirements, is planned for the future.
Wendy Masters, client care manager at Ormerod Rutter, said the all-new website reflected the company's friendly, open approach to business accounting, with a great deal of emphasis on people and the personal touch.
"Our website is very much a window on the range and diversity of our business services and it provides our clients with immediate access to a virtual one stop shop for all their business management needs," she said.
"The competition is also a great way of promoting the use of email for business.
"It's instant, cheaper, more reliable than the post and saves on paper - environmentally is the way forward."
To enter the prize draw, which will be made on May 2, visit www.ormerodrutter.co.uk.
