    02 May 2008

A MASTECTOMY Bra Fitting Day is set to be held at an Alcester lingerie shop next Wednesday (May 7).

Linda Rose Lingerie, based in Market Place, will once again be showcasing a selection of bras and swimwear which are suitable for use with prostheses.

The event is being hosted jointly by the shop and Anita UK, a specialist supplier of foundation garments, swimwear and accessories, and an expert from the company will be on hand to offer advice.

Linda Randell, owner of the shop, is also trained to fit mastectomy bras and deals with patients referred to her from Warwickshire Hospital and the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.

She said: “We are all looking forward to seeing the first sports bra for use with a prosthesis which will also be available.

"Our model who has had breast surgery herself will model for us again to show off the lingerie and swimwear and there will be a large selection of very attractive bras available, many with lovely lace and in different colours.

Anyone interested in attending the day can book an appointment by calling 01789 400152 or just go along between 11am and 7pm.
